About Moultrie Creek

A native of St. Augustine, I’ve always been fascinated with its history. From the explorers to the settlers and on up to today, the story of this area has been a colorful journey. This journal is a collection of stories, photos and other ephemera to celebrate that history. Interspersed are stories of my family and how we came to be in this place.

Do you have any information on the Old Moultrie church and Wildwood Grave yard. Its a little wooden church that was built in 1877 located on Moultrie road.

    1. Nicolette, I’ve got some photos of the church and cemetery on Wildwood Drive at Flickr. One of the photos includes a sign with contact information for the family association that maintains the property. They should be able to tell you more about it than I can.
